I wonder why we’re quick to watch music videos but never the headline news
Quick to watch women shake their asses all over on YouTube
They said black was beautiful but now black is being degraded
Was once proud to be black but now that shit’s been decimated
Races will never be integrated I think we were meant to be segregated
Politician are to blame and like the New England Patriots them bitches is overrated
Since the day before forever black people have been underrated
Shit has been the same since you and I were created
And the rappers fuck the rappers they all talk about the same shit
Money, cars, clothes, and hoes them niggas you can predict
If I were to get a dollar for every time I heard all that shit

Forefathers leanin and rockin instead of turning over inside their graves

Riding and sitting on 24s instead of turning over inside their graves
I mean Martin and Malcolm died fighting for a good cause
All you see now is soldiers dying fighting for what cause
Martin and Malcolm did it different from each but both got they’re points across
Non-violent and by any means but both had their lives lost
The First Amendment gave us the right to freedom of speech
I’m exercising it proudly I’m using my freedom to preach
But the Fifth Amendment gave us the right to remain silent
I guess that’s the reason why we black people act so fuckin violent
Here’s another catch 22 so bad boy tell me watcha gonna do
What would the world be like if blacks would not have made their debuts
I mean what if Jay aint had the skills to be a good dj
What if Jordan aint had the skills to hit game winning fade away
What if Jay-Z wouldn’t have gave you reasonable doubts
Think of how it would’ve been if Harriet wouldn’t have found her way out
This is what I think about these are my Black Thoughts
